Biocultura en Madrid<\/a> has just closed with great success for its exhibitors and over 70,000 visitor people. Organic food products are the largest sector of the fair, accompanied by other sectors such as products for hygiene and cosmetics with certified ingredients, furniture, decoration or rural tourism. Our counselor Mari Paz de la Torre Li\u00e9bana has summarized in the first minutes of this video, some notes of our organic and meta-ecological philosophy at Cortijo el Puerto, the hotels for insects as strategic accommodation in the biological control against the plagues of olive and almond trees. “Each plague has its predator.” This initiative also promotes biodiversity by introducing or enhancing ‘beneficial’ insect species that help maintain the balance.
