The prestigious “International Olive Oil Competition Athena” (ATHIOOC) is an international olive oil contest held every year in Greece (this edition 2020 in Lesbos). ATHIOOC is the fastest growing international olive oil competition in the world and has already gained the respect of hundreds of olive oil producers and international judges.
These results make us especially excited because they reward the quality and organic & biodynamic agriculture that we grow and carry out with such enthusiasm, commitment and innovation in Cortijo el Puerto, Lora del Río (Sevilla). We are happy to have had the wide approval of the judges in such a beautiful place and so full of olive history.
As many of you know, one of Cortijo el Puerto’s core elements is its commitment to Ecology, Quality and Innovation. Our Organic & Biodynamic EVOOs Demeter certified are single varietal and Early Harvest Extra virgin Olive Oil, represented by Mediterranean fauna, as is the taste and interest for the EVOOs that we share with the entire Mediterranean Arch.
