The 5 EVOO submitted to the prestigious Italian BIOL competition have been awarded:
Extra Gold: Arbosana, Hojiblanca Picudo and Picual varieties.
Gold: Arbequina variety.
BIOL is one of the world’s largest, most important organic extra virgin olive oil competitions. The event offers a comparison of the best Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils from the different continents, organized by the C.I.Bi. – Consorzio Italiano per il Biologico Società Cooperativa a r. and sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture.
Judges from 14 countries awarded our EVOO 4 Extra Gold Medals, 1 Gold Medal!!!. After competing with 500 olive oils from 15 nations in this 23rd edition of the BIOL competition in Italy, we feel very happy of this success.
These results make us especially excited because they reward the quality and organic agriculture that we grow and carry out with such enthusiasm, commitment and innovation in Cortijo el Puerto, Lora del Río (Sevilla).
