Our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils have been awarded at the OLIVE JAPAN International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition whose recent edition was held in Tokyo and organized by The Olive Oil Sommelier Association of Japan (OSAJ).
This renowned competition has recognized 6 of our varieties awarding them gold medals. Congrats to Cortijo el Puerto Picudo, Picual, Hojiblanca, Arbosana, Arbequina and Koroneiki Extra Virgin Olive Oil!!!
The event aims to train Japanese consumers about extra virgin olive oil, led by experts with extensive knowledge in the selection, tasting and pairings of EVOO.
In its seventh edition, according to the organizers, a total of 727 olive oils from 22 countries competed.
One of the main events of OLIVE JAPAN 2018 is the “Olive Marche”, an open-air market where tastings, information and products are offered for sale. It will take place in Tokyo from the 8th June 10th.
